Just thought I would post some tips on clearancing valve covers for the Comp Pro magnum Roller Rockers. The trunions on the pro Mags are quite a bit bigger then other brands such as Crane and hit the supports on most valve covers.

For my Billit valve covers I had to

1. Scar the support ascross the bottom with a die grinder
2. Using a dremel and a cutting tool that looks like a dril bit cut down to the wanted depth on each side
3. using a big adjustable wrench snap the unwanted piece out


Here it is with all of supports that cause interferance removed, notice the left side removed and the right side the way it used to be.



All done and fited ( I know its the wrong side but it is also backward so it fits fine on the other side as well, already mounted)

 

Where did you get those valve covers and how much were they?
