comp guide plates ????

comp guide plates ????
i just got my comp guidplates in and on ,all of my rockers are are way off i see it says slight machining is poss but if i make these fit i might as well not run em .is there a better setup?

What misslead you to think the Comp guideplates fit. This is not news atall, very common knowledge.

I went with GMPP guideplates and then when those wore I went with Isky Adjustable.

Why doesn't Comp guide plates fit? I've been using mine for about a thousand miles...

LT1 valve spacing is different from most other SBCs which causes the rockers not to line up with the valves well. They do contact but are nowhere near straight.

thats what was happenin all of my rockers were wide at the tip and narrow at the p/r end like a v
