i heard that the comp cams guideplates wont work for an LT1??

i have #4810 on my motor right now i havent put the motor back in the car yet, but it looks like they fit fine, just wondering if that's true or not?

 

Yes that is true they wont work i know because i tried them.They wont line up the rockers correctly. They put your pushrods on a slight angle and they will rub the heads. youll have to get the gm performance parts guideplates.gm part #14011051
