comp cams 503??

i picked up a cam and was lookin at the specs 224/230 114lsa it has a custom grind on it im tryin to get ahold of comp to get the lift but if i recall it has slightly more lift than a 306. is this gonna be a good cam for my car?? im just in a doubtful mood tonight for some reason tonight. should i put this cam in or should i order a 306??

The 306 is going to have more lift and be a much more agressive cam since it is 112 LSA.

Which would be more aggressive though,? a 112 LSA or a 110 LSA on the CC306? the lower the number the rougher the Idle right?

Yes.

In a nutshell, the lower LSA raises the power band. Idle will be more lopey.

Yeah, the 224/230 114 is bumpy, but not lopey, IMO. I am currently running one. It's mild enough to run with the stock A4 converter and not be bothersome.

So running one with a 112LSA with the stock converter might not be the best idea??? I would like a lopey idle, but dont really want a converter, cuz im not really gonna be going to the track.

See Rob if you had a little info on your Z28 on your page, we would have known this.

It is mentioned on my mods page, but does not describe the lope. Guess I need a sound clip, lol!
