well i would say you have a 50/50 chance. Some people get by fine while others spin bearings.

Well, while not as high mileage as yours, see sig for numbers w/really well ported heads.

No problems noted. My block was damn near perfect when we had the heads off. Still had cross hatching in the cylinder walls.

Those are more miles than I would be comfortable with. But if your on a budget you might want to chance it.

I would recommend adding a new LT1/T4 GMPP HD chain set, lifters while you're in there. Don't forget new seals on the timing cover. Not cheap, but you 've got the engine apart and now would be the time to replace those wear items.

The hardened push rods are basically the same as the stock push rods. I would suggest the Comp Cam chromoly push rods if you plan to go that way. Although I would suggest some new lifters because with 130,000 miles on them I wouldn't be surprised if they are a bit weak.

The only reason I have the hardened push rods is because they cam free with the cam kit I got from www.cmotorsports.com

New lifters.....and at least a new stock timing chain.....Extreme Duty set would be even better if you can afford it. Hardened push rods should be fine if you have those.
