I'm running them as well. They work great. You will need to clearance the valve covers, and they will sound like a sewing machine.

NSA's require guideplates and hardened pushrods. Self-Aligning don't, but I think you have to make sure that the tip of the rocker does not interfere with the valve spring retainer. SA's work to keep the rocker aligned on the valve by having "guides" built into the tip of the rocker. This is where you have to have clearance of the retainer.

I went with NSA 1.6 Pro Mags on my build. They make more noise than I thought they would, but it's normal for them.

If you want real benefits from changing rockers, get full roller rockers like the Pro Magnums. Magnums are roller tipped only and not near the value the Pro Mags are, IMHO.

I personally think for high RPM use that NSA is better(that's why I went NSA). However, Chevy saw fit to use SA on the LT4....and it can spin to 6500.

NSAs are fine for anything, but are the better choice for high RPM use.

If you don't want that to happen, get NSA rockers. Guideplates are cheap, and you should upgrade to hardened pushrods anyway.
