Alright so I already know that some people say these springs will fit without machining while others say they will need machining. My question concerns the valve spring shims/spacers that come on the LT4 heads stock. Can I reuse these with the Comp 987 springs or do I need to get another set of them and possibly modify them to fit on the stock spring pocket. Or do I even need them at all?
