I never mean to say combo uses any flow bench voodoo
i am one of the biggest CM "pushers"
I'm just saying you cant go say "hey GTP what do you flow" and then go ask tpis "what do you flow" and decide which one is better

sorry for any confusion i may have caused

madmav,

I've been following this and it looks like CM may indeed be on to something. I'll keep an eye out and see what kind of results people get from their heads (I won't be shopping for heads for some time, so a little 'watch & wait' doesn't bother me).

I'd also like to see the heads flowed on another bench vs. different vendor heads.

Too many people have gotten burned on this site by "head-porting vendors" for me to not be biased about this topic.

So true. Maybe I should start my own business.

Racingflix is really slow unless you pay for their fast server. Just try it again and give it time. Here is a link to the car running at the track.

There is another video with a different angle too. If you cant get either to work, I can email them to you later tonight.

The car is an Impala SS, CM 383 with Stage 1x heads, ATI D1 at 12psi and 175 shot. Very mean. Oh, and this is one of their slow ones. Dynoed somewhere aroung 640rwhp(?) with out the shot, and 735 RWHP & 798 RWTQ on it. hehe!

Thumbs up

Hey Mav,

Did you see what Jerry ran last night. Here is the link

Not bad for a full weight Impala SS with a passenger, and only heads, cam, supercharger.

personally, i don't pay too much attension to flow numbers as well as track numbers. of course velocity numbers and runner volume are important. i can trust GTP becuase almost every time thier heads perform at the track.

Yeah Sam! I saw that, and it is great! Stock bottom end too. Being as how I have a slightly smaller cam and 1x heads versus stage II heads, I hope to hit high 11s. Well see when I get back from Korea! Put this setup in a lighter f-body, and wow! Keep up the good work guys.

You know what I like about combination motorsports when you call up and ask questions they dont try to rush you and they never try to screw you that will be the only place I order crap from anymore. Trey told me to order from them and now I know why

GTP's LT-1 heads have never performed that well at the track. As for their LT-4/AFR's I don't know. Ther LS-1 heads are about the best on the market. I guess when you get a handle on something, you've got it. Just because your good at one head, dosen't mean your good at another.
