Collector gaskets

I had to take my y-pipe off a while ago and my collector gaskets are mangled. I used the ones that came with my Jet-Hots. Which ones are better to use and wont fall apart when I take the y-pipe off? Or will the collector seal ok and not rust horribly without a gasket?

.

Mine started to leak a few weeks ago, i just got some more at autozone 3" ones. and put ALOT of RTV on them and around them because the y-pipe didnt match up eacactly.

i dont know if there are any you can reuse i would just get new ones every time because they are cheap

Get some "dead soft aluminum" collector gaskets. Will last a lot longer and seal a lot better.

I was thinking aluminum would be better but wasnt sure. I'll definitely give that a try. Thanks.
