I know the NGK ratings but think I have the equivalent Autolite backwards.

From the cataloge at work the stock replacements for our cars in the Autolites is the 106 plug and I have heard several guys on here saying that they use the 104 as a nitrous plug since it is equivalent to the NGK TR6.

I've used the AutoLite 104 for N/A tuning, the 103 for a small hit of juice (125-135HP). Then for the big stuff - 275-300HP - I use a Champion 684/S57YC. That's either one or two steps colder than the 103... and will not tolerate excessive idling.

A quick check with my source indicates:

Autolite 104: $1.39 each

NGK TR6: $1.52 each

....so you could save the grand sum of 13-cents on each one with the Autolites. Obviously, price is not a factor.
