Cold Air Intake and Water

Cold Air Intake and Water

I'm buying a K&N Intake from a board member and i was wonder if i should worry about water getting up into the filter? Is this something i should worry about and if so what can i do to prevent it?

if the vented plastic cover (under air filter) is attached to the car, you s/b fine with water puddles up to 6 inches or so deep. if you go too deep and water gets past the cover and into the filter you're S.O.L.

I wouldnt worry about it, after I installed mine on my 96 I was too lazy to reinstall the black plastic piece underneath...never had any problems at all
