What exactly did you do?

A good catback is a nice start for mods.

A cold air intake and a cat-back exhaust are very effective mods for the LT1 considering what they cost. A exhaust would be my next move too.

yeah, I would go with a cat-back exhaust next. We can turn this into a flame war and start talking about which brand to buy. hahaha. You can de-screen your MAF, and do a throttle body by-pass for chaep, you'll pick up a few ponies there for cheap !!

Just changed the intake (cold long tube) How much will the cat back system free up. And what cat system is the best bang for the buck? also 160 thermostat is no good unless i adjust the cpu correct?

Sorry i forgot I did take the screen out of the MAF sensor. But on that subject Do you really think you get much from removing the screen on the MAF and the throtle body bypass?

as far as catbacks go, do a search and you will find TONS of info about them. I am in the same boat as you and am getting ready to get a K&N CAI and a catback. I have pretty much narrowed down my choice to the Hooker, but the Magnaflow is still calling my name. Hmmmmm?!?

The best bang for the buck cat-back is the cheapest since they all make nearly the same hp. Probably Hooker.
