Which cold air intake to buy??

I have a 96' Formula & the next thing on my list is a cold air intake. I've been looking at SLP's kit which is $200, K&N which I believe is also $200, and Moroso which is $190. Does anyone know which kit is supposevly the best? I would think SLP would be good but I dont like the fact that it has 2 air filters. Any input is appreciated.

Just my opinion, but I've had bad luck with my K&N FIPK. The filter has fallen off on me once or twice. Personally, I would have thought they would have designed a bead on the filter end of the tube to help keep the filter from falling off accidently. I don't know if any of the other kits have a potential problem like this but figured I'd give my 2cents

Get a K&N.It can be upgraded With a filter change to go along with future engine mod's.Tubing size will support about 1500CFM.The 6" cone filter flows about 700CFM.If you want to stop the filter from coming off, build an 2 part epoxy riser(bead) in 4 spots around tubing below where clamp goes(around bottom of tube).Slide filter past raised portions and tighten clamp.

I didnt like the design of the K&N or the Moroso cause I have to drive my car in the rain and we get alot of road flooding here in Indiana so I bought a Jet elbow that is supposed to use the stock filter box and bought an angled K&N fillter and poked about half of it threw the hole where the K&N or moroso would do to get good cool air but its not so close to the road. Mine seems to work pretty good. I ran my car with the filter and without and barrowed an FIPK set up and never gained or lost any MPH or E/T. Hope this gives you some more ideas. Oh yeah! I only have about $65-70 bucks in the whole thing.
