cold air intake?

I'm goin to be getting the k&n fipk soon and am wondering if it is worth cuttin a piece out on the bottom of the fender well and puttin a scoop there so it sucks in cold air you also have to cut the plastic piece in the front i saw this done on somebodys mod page but am wondering if it really produces any extra hp any ideas also would it help for me to get an 52mm tb if i am goin to do headers?

Like he said, Im sure it wouldnt hurt to try but you may not tell any difference at all. As far as the TB. Dont waste all that money for nothing. Wait til you have way more mods than you do now. The stock TB is good for around 400hp.

Its definetly worth it. There have been proven 1-2 mph gains at the track. But just be careful if it rains a lot, you dont want to drive through anything real deep yea know?
