Coil resistance 10.5K

I have a miss at idle and am trying to diagnose it. I performed the opti sparks tests on shoebox’s page and it passed them. I then measured the coil resistance and got a reading of 10.5k on all four terminals. Is this too high? I searched though 10 pages and still couldnt get a clear answer. This is a stock coil on a 140k engine so everyone knows. Thanks

Well, coils are not too expensive if you want to try a new one. The figures on my site are ballpark and may not be be same on all coils. So, it may or may not be your trouble.

I'm having some issues as well and my MSD coil tested at 5.5Kohms. Can't find the spec for this though.

5.5k may be reasonable for an aftermarket coil, but it is close to my 96-97 stock coil reading. What year(s) are your cars?

I also have some woes in this thread on coil testing:
