what are some symptoms of a bad MAP sensor ???

also the terminal on my coil broke off when I unclipped the plug on it and I want to replace it. Should I go with a factory one or the MSD OEM Replacement one (I looked up the blaster and it said oem replacement) ?

 

Faulty map can do several things but will generaly set a code when there is a problem. You can test it with a multi meter and a vacuum pump and watch for the volatge range to change as you apply vacuum.

For the coil. What "termonal" broke off?

 

the harness one . lol , I made this post last night after a 14hour trip to pick up a friends car lol , i was a lil tired lol. I already ordered a new coil. Went with AC Delco.
