coil bracket?

I am getting ready to switch back from my LTCC setup to an MSD opti and when I did the original conversion I removed the coil bracket and evidently tossed it since I can't find it anywhere. I looked on Shoebox's site but can't find a part # for it. Anyone know where I can get one besides the dealer - they tend to overcharge for everything?

There will be at least 2 parts to the metal bracket, 1 heat sink and the ICM. The brackets look to be no longer available. I would try a salvage yard or parts wanted forum.

I have bought a couple of them in ebay complete with coil, heat sink and ICM. Once I got lucky and got one for $25.

I may have to go the salvage route. I have a MSD coil and ignition box so all I need is the mounting bracket for the coil. I'm wondering how hard it would be to fabricate one.

How important is the heat sink and does it matter where the coil is located?? I am not going to use a stock icm but an MSD ignition box.

The heat sink helps to keep the ICM cool. The ICM will not be replaced by the MSD box. You must use both. The coil should be as close to the opti as possible (like where it is).
