coil; get from dealer or is autozone ok

think i've narrowed down my prob. to coil or ign. module. Autozone has the coil for 40 bucks, and the module for 65. What bout the quality of these parts? Anybody running these?? I would love to have this thing running today!!

I bought one of their ignition modules once, and it had GM stamped right on it.

As for coil, it will probably have a lifetime warranty on it, something the GM one wont.

Well in my opinion you should get the GM parts only, now you may still be able to buy from autozone just make sure the parts you get are ac delco.

I'm pretty sure you can get an MSD coil for that much.

Go with an MSD, it's only $38.95 from Summit, and they have a very good reputation.

I think autozone has something wrong with their modules because when I thought I had a bad one, I picked up 1 from them and it was dead. Brought it back, got another, that one was dead too.

Aaron

PS. Go with the blaster coil.
