Code 97 VSS Out Put Circuit low?
I just scanned my car, because she was cutting off randomly, and got a code 97 reading:
"VSS Output Circuit Voltage Low"
what the hell is a VSS? and Where the hell is it?

I wouldn't think so. I've intentionally disconnected mine a few times (back when the engine used the stock PCM) and it ran fine. It would affect things like the coast down idle speed.
