Code 51 E-prom error

WTF does that mean? Did my prom chip go bad? When I had my car tuned do they burn it to the prom chip.. I have an early 94....

When they do a tune, yes they reporgram the prom chip. Do you know if the battery went dead in the middle of tuneing or anything? Iv heard that will make a pcm junk.

Car has be doing well, more surge that usual but that because I still have the MAF on the bottom.... I have another ECM but I have to make it has the correct tune..
