code 36 possible causes
code 36 possible causes
I had code 36 opti pulse low and I took out the opti sensor and found there was 1 single drop of oil in one of the 4 pins. Drove it afterwards and no code. Could that little tiny drop of oil in the pin cause a HUGE miss and code 36???
Maybe you should try to find out where the oil came from. Even if it didn't cause the problem, it could be a problem in it self.
hey JD, no wonder you sold all those cars, when the S10 beat up on them.
Maybe the 97 should be next, seems like it's draging an anchor.

I think it got in there from my heads/cam swap. I have only driven the car 5 times since then and only distances of 3 miles or less. I think it was just from that. There's NO WAY I could already be leaking oil from the intake manifold or anything. I let the RTV sit for over a week!
