code 16

I have a code 16 on my car, which is a low resolution pulse failure and came up with corrosion on the plug or something. How do I go about changing this? do i just get a new plug or have to do something more involved like cleaning the whole optical part of the opti. I already put on a new a cap and rotor kit about 500 miles ago. I think i may have gone down the wrong route, i should have bought a whole new opti. right? I trying to track down this bogging i been having with spark knock, you know that sound like marbles ina can or a diesel engine. any help will be appreciated.

Try cleaning all the corrosion from your harness and from the opti terminals (not going to be easy).

just did it and with some sucess, wasnt too bad though. taking the trottle body off made it a whole lot easier. i also bought some electronic cleaner and sprayed the whole harness. i also cleaned the iac and seems to idle better now too. i wish i can still find a way to get rid of the stumbling. oh well fuel pressure test next i guess. Thanks shoebox
