>I agree... is it worth killing someone or even hurting yourself? what if you get caught? here in western Massachusetts the police will confiscate your vehicle and if found quilty it wll be auctioned off (to yourself for the highest bid). I can't imagine paying for the same car twice. usually costs around $25 to run at the track with official results.

where ever you race your gonna win..unless hes changed the pully he should put down around 420 with the pully and you wouldnt tell. But what most of these people dont think of is there power band...besides the point you have more HP then him hes supercharged so his power band isnt close to yours which means your going to achieve your horsepower faster then he will...in my opinion you could even run from a drop and still take him ive seen many cars with power adders race N/A engines and the N/A came out ontop....go own his ars

Re: Cobra want to race

if the cobra is stock, you should get him. if he has done even a single mod, it will be very close. the cobras are VERY responsive to simple bolt ons. full exhaust can tack on nearly 80+ horsepower at the flywheel on those '03+ cobras. not to mention, most cobra owners get that pulley swapped and get a better intake...good for another easy 30 ponies or so at the flywheel.

the weight is of course more, but the difference might be made up.

i agree with some of the people saying the supercharger will make it harder for him to reach his full HP potential, not to mention your car has a much broader torque curve on the powerband, allowing for big numbers throughout a lot of the RPM range.

we are talking about a pair of 6 speeds here, so depending on tires, it sounds more or less like a driver's race. even with nice drag radials and such, these cars are obviously going to be scratching through a couple gears and scrambling for traction on launch.

You guys do realise it's a roots blower right? supercharger will make it harder for him to reach his full HP potential for someone with a roots or screw blower sounds retarded.
