Clutch problems!!!!! Help fast.

THe other day made a 500 mile trip in a 93 z28 6speed. THe problem is when the clutch is all the way in it makes some noises about like a light metal to metal sound. The car does not want to go in to gear it is like the clutch is not adjusted correct. When you take it and drive it the clutch holds fine like it is not sliping or anything. What could it be i was thanking it was the slave cylinder or the master not pushing it in all the way.

maybe you should check your clutch master cylinder fluid. and then bleed the system too. and if that doesnt work . the only thing i can think of to tell you is that you are going to have to take everything apart.(like you would if replacing a clutch) inspecting and replacing as you go because that could be a number of things.

have you tried bleeding your system man. you might have an air bubble in there or something. that not letting you clutch do its job.

the first thing that comes to mind when you say noise while the pedal is in is the throwout bearing.

Yea the noise does sound like a throw out bearing but it should still go in to gear.

If its a loud almost like a growling noise its same thing I have been having and Sean @ MMT told me it is most likely throwout bearing. It doesnt do it all the time on mine.
