Clutch is out...A few questions

I just droped the tranny and got the clutch out. The only thing is the clutch looks like it is in good shape. Not really worn down at all. It only has about 5,500 miles on it. The flywheel though looks all miscolored. It has a bunch of colored spots all over it. What would cause this. I'm putting in a new flywheel, clutch, and pressure plate in anyways but i don't want this to happen again. Also i bought a new rear main seal just incase. If my other one is leaking do i need a special tool to get the seal out and to install it?

If I remember right, you just pop out the old RMS with a screwdriver, but do it evenly. To put the new one in, just get a 4" I think it was piece of PVC and a piece of wood and hammer it back in.

Heat causes the discoloration Quit slippin the clutch!
