Which clutch now?

Well I just burnt up my stock clutch today doing a burnout at the track. The stock clutch has also been slipping a little and not holding too well lately during my runs.

So the question is...which clutch next? Reading through old posts on the board I ruled out the SLP setup which is unreliable at even the 300rwhp mark which I plan to hit and stay at for at least another 5 or 6 years. I'm interested in the single disk Mcleod performance clutch and pp and the SPEC stage 2. Both cost about the same. I know Mcleod to be a quality company and I hear how the SPEC stage 2 is good up to 475 hp and drives like stock but is also far stronger of course. Which one? Or is there another alternative? (not Street Twin). Only looking to spend $450or less.

I can tell you I just got done taking my first drive with my Spec stage II and I absolutely love it! Even with 0 miles on it, it has no chatter at all, smooth as can be, and it grabs when the pedal is only about 1in. off the floor, it engages within the next inch or so and then the pedal comes the rest of the way out. Very easy to drive, very smooth, should be good to 475hp... I give it 2 thumbs up for the price.

After sleeping on it I decided on the stage 2. I've heard nothing but good things about it and I wont be making anything close to the power it can handle for a very long time if ever. So I'll just stick with that over the stage 3. Thanks again guys.
