Clutch line mod?

Clutch line mod?
I just got my new (new to me anyway) 97 TA yesterday. It is an m6. I thought I saw a few months ago that on the m6 cars there is a restrictor in the clutch line which will cause you to miss third gear while racing. Does any one have any info on this? I already tried a search. Thanks for the help.

On this site...there is a page relating to LS1 cars, but I understand the principle is the same for LT1 cars.
But I have yet to talk to anyone LT1 or LS1 that has done this mod, so I can't talk about it's effectiveness.

With the stock shifter, yes. Just get a Pro 5.0 shifter instead of thinking of ways to screw (or "mod" if you will) up your transmission. 
I also beleive that mod can only be applied on LS1 trannies.
