Clutch fork Help!! Removing tranny from engine

So I got the tranny and the bellhousing bolts out, Ive read numerous threads, Ive got my damn clutch fork on bearing, how do I get the fork out of the way so I can remove whole tranny from engine.. it only slides out few inches until the clutch fork stops from removing the rest of the way.. any clear instructions on this??

Pull the fork straight out from the trans. It will move enough to release from the throwout bearing.

Re: Clutch fork Help!! Removing tranny from engine

that's what it seems suppose to do when I read other threads but wouldn't pull straight out... I barely got a socket in there and removed the bolt that holds the fork in there and took it out. I know I don't have to do this, but it was the only way I finally got it out. thanks anyways!! appreciate it
