Clutch/Flywheel zero balanced?
Generally no, they're not zero balanced. It depends on your engine. Check your front harmonic balancer. There's holes drilled around it. If any of these holes are filled your engine is externally balanced and most likely your flywheel is balanced as well.
That doesnt make sense though since I bought an SLP flywheel and they dont know how its supposed to be balanced, so it would have to be balanced to zero. I think just the rotating assembly is balanced with the balancer.
Also whats the price on the flps, since the site isnt up yet?

The LT1 is "externally" balanced. The front piece is a "damper" only, and has no balancing function. The balancing is achieved through a weight attached to the flywheel (M6) or flex-plate (A4). There is a "standard" value for that weight on a stock engine.
The harmonic balancer is part of the balancing on this engine. Some are balanced with weights inserted into the drilled holes and some are not. Depends on the engine.
I'll never understand why GM designed it this way and why the hub is not keyed. Makes no sense.

On the rear, the flywheel is offset balanced, as is the crank. This "offset" balance is supposed to be a standard, cheap way of doing things, so tell them SBC offset balanced and they should be able to figure it out.
Actually, thanks for the help guys, but I think i figured out today that its not the flywheel vibrating because it doesnt do it when i rev it, its at about 3k while in any gear, Im gonna replace the tranny mount because im sure its bad or going bad, hopefully that will fix it, any other suggestions? shouldnt be the driveshaft causing this one since its under rpm specific conditions, not speed, i know the DS is bad though since it vibrates at high speeds, but im not too worried about that yet.
