which clutch?

The time has come to replace my clutch. I currently have a centerforce duel friction which I got 85,000 miles out of, however with all the negative opinions i see here about centerforce I dont think I really want another one. Even though I never had any trouble out of mine. So what clutch does everyone recommend, and what is the approximate cost?

Try an SLP unit, people say alot of good about it, I got one myself, just waiting to do my intake leak before I install mine...

I will check it out, I will be doing the intake leak at the same time-I guess. I wish I could afford a new engine, and do all of it at the same time. The engine has 180,000 on it, it still runs good and pretty strong, but how much longer can it last.

I would say do it right the first time and go with a McLeod Street twin. Yeah it is expensive but well worth it in the long run.

So far Im really happy with my Spec stage II clutch. Rated to 475HP and drives pretty much like the stock clutch, it just grabs sooner and harder. Can chirp my Nitto DRs but yet its smooth as can be. No chatter either even right after the install. It retails for $450 but can be found for less. I got mine for $404 to my door.

I picked up a McLeod dual performance clutch ($400) last year and I'm very happy with it. I think it's good for 400rwhp.
