closed loop going to open loop??

The last four or five times I have been logging the car I have noticed a few things and dont know if they are related or not. The one to probably concentrate on is twice now I have seen it go from closed loop into open loop after about fifteen minutes or so of driving. Car seems to go from open loop to closed loop on startup normally. I assume a sensor or wiring would be were to look but any advice or direction would be much appreciated. Also the o2 sensor volts still fluctuates when it kicks into open loop(it runs rich in open as I have wideband and the volts also confirm on the narrowband). The other thing I have seen is the long term trims often look like they need to be relearned, as if the power was cut to the pcm memory yet it wasn't. The only code was I think 1661 was the number it was a malfunction in the indicator light circuit. I will be scanning for codes again to see if anything else has appeared once my laptop charges back up. Any help or direction is greatly appreciated.

How are your temperatures in the PCM? I would say it might be either O2 sensors or temp sensor.

I need to convert to see if temps match the guage but they were raising and lowering decent. I did pull a code for insuficient activity on bank 1 o2 so thats probably what kicked me into open loop.(Dang not checking code before posting sorry). I am working on tune and with the fuel trims not really keeping a memory I am pretty sure thats part of the o2 reading that way(they are low mile ac delco bought new). Any thoughts on the memory not seeming to work? About to moniter data again here in a few but on my way home last night all the ltft were gone(again).

Send me a copy of a data log. Sounds like the PCM is losing power on the PCM BAT side. Do you have a sense of the engine losing power for an instant?

I havent really noticed a loss in power. Later tonight will try and find the best log to send as one has it losing the values mid log I believe. I also have to figure out how to re format the log to a file you can open last attempt I posted wouldnt work but my software can convert so as soon as I get it all figured out will post one. Thanks guys for you time and input.

Re: closed loop going to open loop??

I must not have recorded or saved the one that shows the "learning" the best. I also dont know if my link will work and i have it all figured out there. I did get it to convert from the file extention you could not open previously. I also apologize for it being so long.https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B1bD...it?usp=sharing This log does not kick over to open loop but I do have one that does. This is more about why the memory seems to get forgotten
