It's not hard, and you don't need to loctite those. They're fine. Just leave the console off when you adjust them. Put it in gear, tighten it down, check ALL the gears to make sure it won't pop out of gear when you let off the clutch, and you're good to go. I just adjusted, took it down the street and back and readjusted.

You have to check all the gears because mine was fine in some gears on first adjustment, but popped out of others. I love the shifter though, and I'm sure you will too. Have fun with it.
