Chirp when you let off of acceleration?

When I decide to accelerate fast, and then take my foot off the pedal fast, something chirps/high pitched noise when I do it. The engine, when it idels also makes a constant kind of high pitched noise, like the belt(I read the post earlier on a similar problem), but my belt is fairly new...what could the dianosis be? Thanks.

Its your belt. try spraying some belt dressing on there. It helped mine. what happens is the belt still spins when the motors pulleys slow down.

How exactly does the tensioner go bad? I know that the tensioner provides tension to the belt so that it stays on the pulley. How much is a new tensioner and is it hard to install? Thanks a lot.
