where to get one or two lug nuts

I'm doing my rear brakes and found that the tire store had pretty much stripped a lug nut when they put my tires on. I was finally able to get it off and would rather get a new nut to go on there.

Where can I buy just one or two lugnuts?

Thanks.

You're probably gonna need new wheel studs as well if they stripped it. You can get both at the parts counter in a dealership. The new studs are extremely easy to put in. First, pound the old one out with a hammer, it should come out pretty easy. Then put the new one in place, and use an extra lug nut and washer to pull the stud through the rotor.

By stripped, do you mean they stripped the threads where the lug nut screws onto the stud, or do you mean just the flat edges where the tire iron is used to loosen it. While the first could mean the stud is stripped, if just the outside part (with the flat edges that you take off w/ Tire Iron) is what you speak of, all you need is the lug nut.

Sorry I was unclear. The lug nut is just rounded off, the stud is still fine.

I was unsure if a pepboys type store would carry our lug nuts and I don't have a phone to call and check. But it sounds like I can get them at any auto store so I'll head down the road.

Thanks.
