checking power to the fuel pump

other than checking the relay, is there any other fuses that i can check to make sure that my fuel pump is getting power.

my 96SS only has 81K on it. seems odd the pump would go out so fast.

My 94 shop manual says the relay is powered by the #5 fuse under the hood. If you have power at the relay then the fuse is obviously good. That is the same fuse that powers the PCM. #4 goes to the PCM also.

Have you checked the relay manually out of the car to see if the contacts pull in? Just because power is there doesn't mean the relay works.

Are you having problems?
