Check engine light flashing.. what's up?
Well that means something is wrong with your engine. It is either electrical or emmissions, that is why an OBD system throws a code. Generally we see problems with the OPTI spart, O2 sensor, or MAF sensor, or any other of a hundred sensors on your car. My suggestion is this, bring your car to Autozone, they will dianose this problem for you, then when you have your diagnosis, take it to us, and we will tell you where to go next. Certainly, dont drive it straight to a dealer where they will rip you off emensely. Good luck with your problem,

Thanks guys. I just got the engine back together.. It has Hotcam, new ported heads, and all the goodies. I replaced the Opti plugs and wires all new. I have about 400 or 500 miles on it with no problems.. awsome power. I have had the ses light come on and stay on before but never flash at me. I live 100 miles from a GM dealership and ever farther from a Autozone. I need to invest in a laptop and freescan or something.
I guess I'll check my plug wires. Thanks.

That means you have a misfire. It might not even be a plug wire though. When I installed my headers I had a misfire and all my wires were all set so I go pretty pissed. I checked the plugs and one needed a good turn or two with the ratchet. So make sure your plugs are tight.

. Not like I'll be cruising the car anywere anyway. We've got about 10" of snow in the past two days. The city plowed the roads and pushed a rock hard snow pile solid up against my car up to the bottom of the drivers side window deep.
