Check Engine Light

I have recently installed a cam andLT's for my 95 camaro m6. It was running fine and I finally had the guts to take her out for a test drive. I was cruising along and all of a sudden the check light came on. I turned around drove home and, shut the car off turned it right back on and it was off. So I took her back out and everything was well until I was pulling into my neighborhood and it turned on again. Has any one else had this problem or does any one have ideas?

seriously. it could be almost anything from the install or could even be unrelated. The only way to know is to pull a code out of it and go from there. anything else would just be a guess

Yes, in order to zero in on the problem, the code will have to be pulled. Unfortunately, you have the '95 with OBDI diagnostics, but with an OBDII connector. Unless you find someone with the proper equipment to scan/pull the code, it means a trip to a garage or dealer. Otherwise you can start replacing stuff and may never find the problem. Could be something simple or something comples. Start with a visual inspection of all wiring and connections.
