Pipe down Corporal, E-5 in the USAF here.

FWIW, I've got the Jet-Hot Long tubes w/o emissions provisions. You might be able to catch 'em on their next GP if you don't need them right away...

Well, I am buying a new optispark and a few other replacement things while I am in there, thats why this crap is getting so expensive lol! So far I got the heads and camshaft here, and I just spent 650 with speed inc to get the hookers I wanted with the 02 sensors and so forth. Now I still need to get roller rockers, lifters, injectors gasket kit, optispark, 38mm throttle body (when I get the extra money) and tuning.. <sigh> thats at least another 1500 at least.. sonofabitch... <sigh> But 400rwhp? ****ing worth it... And by the way, I ain't no corporal.. 'SrA McKim....

He was talking to me obviously. The Marine Corps is the only service with a Corporal. Anyway, you won't be getting far with a 38mm TB. You may want to go bigger, lol....

The stock TB is 48mm. You probably mean 58mm. I was just making fun of you. No hard feelings....

I would honestly check out the local speed shops. Not advance auto, auto zone, pep boys....but an actually shop where they KNOW what they're talking about. I bought my Hookers from my favorite buddies for 410..plus 1 dollar for shipping. Yes they are coated and no they dont have bungs.

used will generally save you money. I think I already said I got my heads used. They are actually LT4 heads and Intake. I got them for $400. The Injectors were from ebay for about $180 I think. The pushrods lifters and rockers are new (can't skimp there). I actually have not installed the injectors yet and have no tuning done to the car. She runs good, but could be so much better of course. I am waiting on my headers to be shipped by Jet-Hot then thats the next step.

Get your OptiSpark from Dal Slabaugh or Jason Cromer, ~$200.

Or, you could keep your current opti and go with a Delteq or LTCC.... Coil-pack conversion

Just keep in mind your stock TB is 48mm, holes in the LT1 intake are 52mm, so any TB over 52mm you need to bore out the holes.

As for who makes the best TB's? I'm still trying to decipher...

Keep your eye in the Advertisers forum, they're ALWAYS throwing up 10-15% off sales. I got most of a valvetrain from Thunder when they were 10% off, saved ~$60, every bit helps!

www.combinationmotorsports.com has good prices too.

A place to check for cheap injectors is the classifieds at www.corral.net , you can get the "SVO" injectors there. I also Mod the classifieds there too BTW

I'm not sure how I feel about used injectors...
