I bought my ceramic coated Hooker LT's from Summit for $600.
they didn't come with the O2 sensor bungs, but you can buy the bungs separate for 4-5 bucks a piece and put them on yourself.

I have the jet-hot coated ones from Thunder Racing, and I also had a set of Hooker coated hookers from Jegs. the hooker coating doesnt seem even remotely as good as the jet-hott.

Does the jet hot coating increase the performance? Or is it there only for looks? I guess what I should ask is, does the jet hot coating go inside the header or is it on the outside only. Thanks. The reason I ask is because ls1speed sells em for 399... (W/out jet hot)

Nice...

But I think we should stop thread hijacking. It's just not nice, man.....

Edit: Jet-hot coating vastly increases the power. It lowers engine bay temps and raises exaust temps causing the exhaust gases to flow out quicker and air to get in quicker. And yes they are coated inside and out. Go to www.jet-hot.com for more info.

<sigh> I am only an E-4 and really didn't want to spend 600 bucks on a pair of headers, when the ones for the '79 I used to have were 80 bucks. New. If you got a few minutes, check out http://www.ls1speed.com/catagory.cfm?catagory=exhaust are the coated ones there jet hot or hooker ceramic? thanks.
