Angry Changing Rear Wheel Studs?

What does it take to change your rear wheel studs? Can you do it without pulling the axles out? HELP ASAP

First of all, are you installing longer than stock studs? I installed 3" long ARP's which is obviously longer than stock. I didn't want to pull the axles out, so I found a way around it. You know how the new studs won't fit between the axle and disc brake support...well just grind the disc brake support slightly in one spot so the bolt fits in between the gap. You don't have to grind too much away, so its not hurting anything.

No, Im just installing stock studs, because one of them got stripped out. So can I just grind a little on that plate that holds that caliper on. And the stud will just go in right? How hard do you have have to hit the old stud to get it out, is it that bad?

Doesn't take anything more than a little elbow grease.
Don't be afraid to hit them.
