Changing out Oil Pan Gasket/Pump
Question
I'm in the middle of changing out my Oil Pan Gasket and decided to change my oil pump to a LT4 pump while I have the pan out(200,000 miles on old one) My question is do I need to Prime the new pump or just soak it in some oil for a little bit.The engine was running about 4 hours ago so every thing has plenty of oil on it
95 Formula whith alot of miles on it

I like to fill it with some nice grease , the same that most people use to lube bearings with when assembling a bottom end, I run it a little til its warm then change the oil. But of course this is on a new motor...lol
