Changing Lt1 Head Gaskets

I Need To Do The Head Gaskets On My 94 Z28 And I Was Wondering If Anyone Had Some Advice That Would Make It Go Easier?also Does Anyone Now How I Get The Fuel Lines Disconnected From Top Of The Intake?thanks

you need a quick dissconect tool for the fuel lines.

Just search the site...you will find what you need.

www.shbox.com should help too

Autozone. You will need the 5/16th and 3/8th disconnect tool. You will slide the tool behind the fitting. Press forward slightly (like you are connecting the line) while you pull the tool away. It should come right off. DO NOT PULL on it HARD ! Sometimes just a slight wiggle is all that is needed. It has worked for me everytime. I just did it(again) 2 days ago.....motor is out....time for some more parts......

spray down the exhaust manifold bolts with rust penitrant way in advance and keep doing it
