Changing a head gasket

About how hard is it to change a head gasket on a 95 camaro. Blew the head gasket on mine and just have no idea on how hard it is to change it.

Re: Changing a head gasket

I'd say the most annoying thing will be the exhaust, but other than that its easy.

Re: Changing a head gasket

Took me a solid 2 days to get it done. As already mentioned, the exhaust sucks. All my manifold to Y pipe bolts snapped off and required drilling them out. Little things like this add to the time considerably. If you plan to add headers, heads, a cam or anything else, now is the time for that.
