Changed Wires and coil Trouble Code?

I changed my wires and coil and after the job was done I forgot to reconnect the coil computer wire. I tried to start to no avail then fixed the problem. Now my SERVICE ENGINE SOON light is on and won't go off. What could this be caused by and how do I get rid of it? Do I just bring it to a place to have it scanned or somthing? Thanks for the help guys.

You just need to reset the pcm. On a 1995, remove the PCM fuse (#8 under the hood) for about 10 seconds.

Ok. I removed a 10 amp fuse under the hood that had an eight near it and I also removed a 20 that was next to it. I poked around some more and no matter what i take out the code doesn't go away. I don't know what code it is because I don't know how to check. Do I have to take it to a place to check it or does this computer do that blinky thing that older ones do? I dind't have this code at all until I did the wires and coil so I know it has to be somthing like that.

My trans has been locking into second and I don't know why. I thought it was because of my HPPIII trans programming but now my dad tells me when there is a trouble code it does this. What do I believe?

What do I do!

p.s. this is the first annoying problem that I couldn't fix quickly with my car. thanks guys

No way to blink out the codes. A scan tool must be used. It is harder to get a 95 scanned, because they are OBD-I with a 16 pin OBD-II looking DLC. Pins 5 and 9 are used like A and M on a 12 pin DLC.

If you are having trouble with the tranny, it might be something else.

The pcm fuse should have been the top right fuse. There is a legend for the fuses inside the cover. Be sure you have no other fuses blown.

Did the fuse location go to underhood for 95?
My 94 it's in the dash fuse box... PCM BAT & PCM IGN both
Just a thought here, he may be in the wrong place..

ok sorry guys but my friend poked around in my car and left the freakin MAF plug out. Trouble code gone. Now new problem. trans doesn't power shift from 2-3 at WOT. trans has been rebuilt once. I am going to test to see if the WOT 2-3 works without powershifting. Any thoughts?

1995 is the oddball. All other years, the pcm battery fuse is in the dash panel.
