Centerforce disc - unsprung hub?

I posted this in Drivetrain and haven't recieved a reply, figured a few more people would see it here -

I just got a Centerforce clutch, and had a few questions. I purchased it used and wanted to know if all of the discs have unsprung hubs. I've seen pics before and they've always had springs. Also, since it doesn't have springs, which go towards the flywheel when installed, which surface goes toward the flywheel? The ceramic puck side, or the organic material similar to a stock clutch?
