CC306 Track results!

Well, I wasn't really gonna go to the track tonight, but I was really getting the itch, so with the weather being somewhat cool. I deceided to go for it....

I had 6 runs in total with the first being the worst and the last being the best, here is the break down of times....remember before I did anything to the car it was running 13.9-14.0@ 100-101MPH..

14.4@76...Let off at 1/8 mile just to see where I was
13.365 @108.0
13.017 @108.84
13.057 @107.63
13.026 @108.45

And the full breakdown for the last run..

This was with a 6000-6200 RPM clutch drop to get the car moving.... Let me tell ya it took some ***** for me to do this on a stock 10 bolt rear end!

R/T: .427
60': 2.090
330: 5.577
1/8: 8.447
MPH: 85.41
1000: 10.921
1/4: 12.997
MPH: 108.66

Well I finally did it and probably won't be hitting the track again until the rear end and gears go in before next summer....That is unless someone has 2G's sitting around that the are willing to part with to satisfy my need for speed....

This is with CC306 Cam, MAC Headers, 3 Angle Valve Job, Custom Tuning, and 315/35ZR17 Kumho Victoracers out back......

With the Stock Clutch, 10-Bolt, Bottom End

Those numbers seem low to me. xxsaint69x traps 115s with a cc306 and stock heads....

Haven't picked up the KM yet, but on autotap there is very very very little knock retard......less than 1* I am told....

Does XXSaint69X have a different set of gears? Cause let me tell you I can't launch this thing with out running her up real high as evident with my last launch....I think it has more in it, having some clutch issues also....

XXSaint69X ---- Did you Dyno your car? What kind of power are you making, and what gears do you have?

Still though. He should at least be seeing some 112s....
Are you running on the OBDII computer? Who did your tuning if you don't mind me asking?

Question

Did you got to 66 tonight? The weather is not good for racing today.... The DA right now is 2215!!! I think in even decent air you will see much better times or at least MPH...

Sounds like tuning isn't your issue then. What kind of exhaust do you have?

MAC Headers, Off-Road Y-Pipe and some cat-back from Tuffy that actually flows really good.....

If I wasn't afraid of blowing up the rear-end I would try going again next week, to see if it was the bad weather conditions, but I can't afford to lose the rear-end
