CC306 & stock heads
CC306 & stock heads
Guys I am wondering if anyone is runnign a CC306 on stock heads, well with springs replaced of course? Mods will be long tubes, headers, TB, injectors, and the 306. I dont think the budget will aloow for a set of heads right now so i was wondering if anyone is running this set up? Any feedback from anyone runnign it will be greatly appreciated. Any dyno #'s will be great.
Re: CC306 & stock heads
i got cc306,stock heads,30lbs accel injectors, intake, headers. put down 340 or something. it was a really crappy clutch so it could of been more. but i ran 12.5 at the track. with stock 10bolt
Re: CC306 & stock heads
Red96z ran 12.3 @ 110 his first and only time out with a bolt on Auto.
XXSaint69X ran the same, only I think his trap was 114-115.
Either way its a strong proven camshaft, just needs to rev a bit higher than most.

Re: CC306 & stock heads
Im running a CC306 with stock heads, intake, injectors and t-body. So far my best pass has been a 12.7@111.9 with a 2.00 60ft. Im really hurting on the launch though. My 3.23s with a 2.66 first gear T56 is horrable off the line. But I run door to door with my friends car who runs 12.4s@109-110 from a 40mph roll which he also running the CC306 with stock heads, intake, injectors and t-body but he has an auto with a 3200 vig converter and 3.73s. With a good 60ft and a few more bolt ons and suspention parts I think his car could go 12.0s without a problem. Just make sure you set your rev limiter for 6500rpm at the most because even with stock heads the CC306 likes to rev, well as long as you have good valve springs
