I have a 95 383 LT1 A4 with the CC306 cam. I wanted to kno what would be a safe idle setting for this cam. I was hopping to have the idle set around 700 or so or is that too low. most people I see with the CC306 cam have theirs around 950-1000 but their all m6's, what about the autos? I want a noticably choppy idle but I kno that extra cubes kills off some of the cams choppyness.

 

I think mine is around ~850.

 

if you want choppy idle, lower the idle RPM ..
