cc305 w/nitrous

Does the cc305 camshaft work well with nitrous? I'm thinking of 150-200 shot. Will this much nitrous be too much for a stock bottom end? BTW the engine is from an impalla SS 96' I believe ( currently in my car). I want the car to sound almost stock, which will be a task with Long tubes and true duals, while being able to kick some serious ***-falt, and have good gas milage.

The CC305 should be fine with dope. As far as using 200hp shots on bottom end, no problem...it should survive that at least twice! JK- Check out the N20 forum, but I think 100hp (120 max) is a better plan for the stock short block LT-1, there are guys pushing 120-150, but I wouldn't. Also, be prepared to spend about twice what you think on the N20 kit by the time you get fuel pressure safety switch, bottle warmer, window switch, blow down tube, etc. that make the kit more functional and safer. Also know that your cars fuel system isn't up to the task of providing the added fuel over 120 shots require. I'm not trying to discourage you, N20's bitchen, but the guys in N20 forum know best, I don't have my kit...yet.

I've been running a 125 shot for a year now on a stock bottom end with no problem. You should be fine with that as long as you buy all the necessary safety equipment.
