CC305 w/ hotcam springs and 1.6's
Re: CC305 w/ hotcam springs and 1.6's
Lift is .544" with 1.6's
Springs may be OK unless you plan on high rpm. Check your closed pressure to be sure it is high enough. I do not currently have a cam card to see the recommended spring pressure, but I shoot for 130 on the seat with that cam.
The correct spring is a 986.

Do not use Hotcam springs.
Use 986 Dual Springs or 941-16 springs.
941's (single w/ damper) are alot stiffer than 986's, but 941's will fit in the stock pockets without changing seals. You will need to use CC shims and remove the stock seats but they will work.
941 specs
135#@1.75"
359#@1.25"
rate = 447#/in
Bind@1.130 equals about .600" lift
